Wow! What a busy and brilliant term Green Class have had!
The term kicked off with a whole school trip to Warwick Castle where a fabulous time was had by all. This led to many learning opportunities such as learning the names of parts of a castle, writing non-fiction reports and creating maps.
Following this, the children's learning was focused around the story 'Hector and the Big Bad Knight'. The children loved learning to re-tell the story with different actions and began using the structure to write their own stories. Green Class were lucky enough to receive a letter from Hector's Granny asking them to help her plan a party for Hector - of course, they were more than happy to help! The children made hats, wrote jokes and created entertainment as well as measuring drinks for the party.
Green Class were very grateful to Mr Goodhall for coming in to teach us all how to saw in our workshop. They can't wait to apply this skill in their learning over the next few terms.
Of course, to finish the term there were many festive activities taking place! There were fantastic performances in Starlight, the Christingle service, Christmas lunch and Christmas parties - what a brilliant way to end the term!
What amazing work the children in Green Class have produced this term - I can't wait to see what Term 3 brings!!
Well done Green Class! What superstars you are!
