Term 5

Jack and the Beanstalk

The children have been considering the question 'What if Jack got to the top of the beanstalk and saw something other than a castle?' They have been painting their backgrounds and coming up with changes to the original story.

They had to help cheer the poor Giant up when he called to say he was feeling very sad because he is so different from everyone else. The children told him not to worry because 'everyone is different in the whole world' and 'we are all unique and special'. They made him cards, gifts, medals, pictures, wrote letters and made friendship recipes to show him how to be a good friend.

What a lucky Giant to have so many special children to help.

I wonder what will be at the top?
