It sounds like everybody had a lovely rest over half term and we’re all certainly full of beans again!
We have been learning about Hector and the big, bad knight this week! On Monday, we used the learn pads to make animations of the story. In English, we have been getting better at writing noun phrases and using them in our sentences: Hector climber the tremendously, terrible tower.
In Maths we have been measuring length, weight and capacity. The children really enjoyed weighing the dragon poo! Yesterday we worked in teams to measure the capacity of Hector’s pots.
In Science we found plants in different habitats around school. Then we discussed how the plant was adapted to the habitat.
The children found out about Diwali this week and had a lovely assembly with Mrs Sharma.
Next week we will continue our learning about Hector and the big, bad knight.
