Week 2

This week in Benhall market garden the children have been busy creating, planting and understanding growth and change!

Some of the children have explored flower arranging using colanders, the end results were very surprising!

Flowers have been created using paper plates, different coloured tissue, glue and the children's scissor skills.

The children have explored petals from different flowers to make perfume!

Mrs Long aka our very own" Percy Thrower" has been gardening and planting with the children, we now have a Clematis and Honeysuckle to add some colour to our shed.

This week the children have put together a science experiment, using test tubes, white carnations, water and food colouring. They will now monitor the flowers progress in changing colour, This is a simple experiment, maybe try it at home.

Finally the beans that the children planted last week, are growing!!!!!!

Next week in preschool we are exploring fruit and continuing to plant flowers.
