This Week in Yellow Class This week the children have been super busy exploring their senses – tasting different foods, blindfolded obstacle courses, smelling herbs, feeling objects and textures and listening to and guessing different instruments. They were fantastic and Mrs Pain had a wonderful time.
We have been getting prepared for sports day next Tuesday and the children are ready to whizz. Hope you are all in training for the parents race!!!!!!!
On Wednesday Mrs Stevens had a great time at Forest School building shelters and tents. Some children even made their own tent pegs. She was so impressed.
We have had great fun practising for our performance next Thursday morning. Please send costumes in by Monday ready for our dress rehearsal Tuesday.
I would like to say how incredibly proud we were of all your children yesterday when a group of pre school children came up for a little visit. We talked about how we could welcome them – their ideas and suggestions were just wonderful and they were so excited to show them around. They are such a kind, thoughtful and caring bunch and looked after them so brilliantly.
Have a lovely weekend
Mrs Aitken, Mrs Pain and Miss Nugent
