Week 3

Where have all the tables gone?

You might have noticed that we have been experimenting with our classroom layout a bit this week! It has been interesting learning without chairs and tables.  We will bring back a few tables next week and think about creating a classroom layout that will give us the best of both worlds.

This week we have been reading lots of poetry and learning about poetry features such as alliteration, rhyme and onomatopoeia. The children were great at spotting these features in poems.

In Art, we used outdoor materials and fallen leaves to make pictures. Then we wrote our poems about the fallen leaves.

In Maths, we practiced 3D shape properties and then we sorted the shapes using a venn diagram. We also covered using inverse to find missing numbers.

Next week we will be making dragon traps!
