This week Indigo Class have been researching lots of different real life dragons ready to create their own dragon fact files! Komodo dragons, bearded dragons, dragonsnakes, black dragonfish and many more! We discussed where these dragons lived and how they have adapted to suit the climate. The children were fascinated by some of the things they discovered!
We were also very excited to meet a real life bearded dragon! The lovely Mrs C. brought in her pet, Spike, to meet us! Luckily, Spike was quite peckish so we got to watch him catch his prey... mealworms! We did some very careful sketching of bearded dragons too. Thank you Mrs. C!
Next week we will be...
* Learning about fractions - 1/2, 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 and 1/3
* Discussing ways to stay healthy to combat winter germs!
* Playing the ukulele
* Practising lots for the KS1 Christmas performance!
