This week Indigo Class went to check up on the seeds we planted in Week 2 to see how much they had changed...if at all! The groups observed their plants very closely, made detailed sketches and discussed what they noticed. Fingers crossed they grow lots over the half term!
The children have also been very busy planning and writing their own stories! They were very excited to write about whatever they wanted and it was lovely to see their interests come out in their writing! We had stories about Star Wars, Pokémon, wizards, princesses, rabbits, the Titanic and there were some fierce, green dragons too!
We also met up with our reading buddies at St. Marks this week. The children really do seem to have made firm friends now which will hopefully make their transition in September all the more exciting!
Have a fabulous half term everybody!
The first week back we will be...
* Making our own 'Mr Men' storybooks
* Describing and comparing shapes and investigating symmetry
* Playing tennis
* Auditioning for our end of year performance 'Matilda'!
