Goldilocks sent Blue Class an invitation to a '3 Bears Party' on Wednesday 19th October and she said as a way of apologising for messing up the classroom we could all bring a teddy.
On Tuesday, we created party hats which helped developing our cutting skills and we made lots of party banners where we developed our writing skills. We also worked in our Maths area to make the longest paper chain we had ever seen!
On Wednesday, we were all very excited. Miss Bilton came with a large teddy and Mrs Lever came with a teddy that was nearly 60 years old! We all introduced our bears ready for the party in our circle time.
During the party we practised and developed our spreading skills by making honey sandwiches. Some of us didn't like honey so we had apricot jam instead. They were delicious. Phoebe and Eliza visited Mrs Richmond who said she enjoyed her honey sandwich too!
We then played some party games with our bears- Carmen won musical statues and Charlie and Courtney won the limbo. We had made a paper chain the day before to use during this game!
What a way to end the term....
Blue Class developed and practised their archery skills. Two coaches came in and taught us all how to use a bow and arrow. We found out that the middle of the target is not called a bulls eye but actually called gold!
We took turn to shoot with our bow and arrow. Once we had all had a go we then played lots of games individually and in teams.
Ella, Florence H, Florence W and Charlie all won one of the games....
Tillie and Olaf were so good and persevered throughout.
What a busy first term in Blue Class. Miss Bilton has thoroughly enjoyed her first six and a half weeks and is looking forward to more fun in Term 2.
Have a lovely half term children/parents/families :-)
