This week a helicopter came and landed on our field. We were thrilled and were inspired to ask Harry and James lots of questions about how it worked and how to become a helicopter pilot. Here are some of the photos...
It has been an ‘eggcellent’ week in Yellow Class.
We have been focusing on Easter, thinking about the Bible story that is so important to Christians, and the real reason behind Easter as well as developing our mathematical, creative, literacy, speaking and listening skills through many different activities in our daily provision. If you have any examples of your children showing new skills or understanding or experiences in any area over Easter it would be fantastic to hear all about it, whether it be on Tapestry or through WOW stars that they can share at school with their friends.
The children are thoroughly enjoying their gymnastics sessions in PE exploring the large apparatus and different ways of moving over, under and through climbing equipment.
We have carried out lots of ‘eggsperiments’ with egg rolling down ramps and improving our ramp designs. The children have shown some fantastic Purple Learning skills through persevering and trying different approaches to problems while at the same time having lots of fun.
Thank you to everyone who was able to come along yesterday to the ‘Eggstravaganser’ event. It was a very special morning and the children loved having you there. If you weren’t able to make it then please have a look on Tapestry or our website at the photos.
Have a wonderful Easter break
