A warm welcome back to everyone ! We are looking forward to an exciting term full of celebrations!
Over the coming weeks, we will be learning about the history of Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder plot and writing our own Newspaper report about everything we have discovered. We will be thinking about what life was like in The World War One trenches for the soldiers. We will also be learning about why it is important to commemorate Remembrance, as well as learning about the significance of different coloured poppies. We will be taking a journey through India, learning the story of Rama and Sita and all about the festival of Divali. The term will culminate with us thinking about The Story of Christmas.
As it is getting colder now, please can you make sure that you send your child to school with a coat and a jumper as we will be going outside whatever the weather.
Just a reminder that children will need to wear their PE kit to school on Tuesday and a Friday.
Reading will remain the same as last term, with books being changed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Spellings will continue to be sent out every Thursday and will be tested on the following Thursday.
Please do get in touch with the Indigo team with any questions you have.
We are looking forward to another super term!
Mrs Jackson and Miss Nugent.
