Wow, wow, wow what a first week Blue Class have had! The children have come back to school true purple learners and have been using lots of skills such as perseverance, putting in effort and have naturally been celebrating others.
To kick off Term 3 Blue Class were given invitations to an Art gallery on Tuesday. Brenda Barrowson (aka Mrs Lever) gave us a guided tour around the gallery showing us and telling us all about the different types of art. This then sparked us to plan the term together and we decided to focus all of our learning on the parent event at the end of the term. We have a six week plan and have already started to create things for the event. The children have been busy practising to mix different colours and have created their own prints using bottle tops, string, plastic and paper to then make their own printed dragons. We have also been using 2paint to create pictures on the laptops and have then used Word to learn how to use different fonts, change the size of fonts and use Word Art to create bubble writing. Check out Blue Class or Green Class Learning Walls to see what we will be doing next for our Dazzling display of dragon event!
