Safeguarding

Our school is committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people; we expect all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with the children and their families has a role to play in safeguarding children.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is defined as: protecting children from maltreatment; preventing impairment of children’s health or development; ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care; and taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead Officer is Miss Morris and the Deputy Safeguarding Lead is Miss Bilton and Miss Everett.  Our Deputy Safeguarding Lead at Pre-School is Linda Bennett If you see or hear anything that makes your feel uncomfortable whilst at Benhall Infant or Pre-School, please ensure you report it to a DSL immediately.
